Sigma Gamma Rho

Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated was chartered November 12, 1922 on the campus of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. Seven young school teachers saw the need to promote GREATER SERVICE to all people , excellence in education, and fellowship amongst all women. The Theta Upsilon Chapter was chartered at the University of South Florida on December 12, 1981. Our aim is to enhance the quality of life within the community. Public service, leadership development and education of youth are the hallmark of the organization’s programs and activities. Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. address concerns that impact society educationally, civically and economically.
